Return of First Staff Contingent to Cairo: The Chairman announced that six of the Geneva staff members (including four Council members) had been cleared for return to Cairo and would leave Geneva December 12th by plane. Following the departure of this group no further Council meetings will be held in Geneva; responsibility for direction of activities for the group in Geneva will be in the hands of John H. Provinse, assisted by Mr. Conn, in accordance with the earlier arrangements for such responsibility approved by President McLain. Change in Administrative ;:rran;,emonts — Geneva: In order to handle future financial transactions in Geneva, the Council adopted the following minute: "It is approved that Mr. John H. Provinse, in place of Mr. John W. Hollenbach, be authorized to sign checks on the University account with the American Express Co., Inc. (Geneva) along with Mr. Harlan D. Conn, Bursar.
