Faculty Meeting 5. Extra-curricular Activities Program in Geneva. The matter was discussed at some length centering around: 1. Academic development of individual staff members. 2. Public relat . ons on the part of AUC 3. Extra-curricular activities It was decided to go ahead on a planning basis of one month. The Com-mittee on Program in Geneva was asked to meet at 3:00 PM, 11 November, to prepare recommendations on the Academic side for a Council Meeting at 5:00 PM, 11 November. Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Harvill will be Secretary to the Council and Ad-ministrative Assistant to the Council respectively. The question of a work week for staff members was raised and it was de-cided that Monday through Friday should be considered the work week and that all staff members should keep in touch with the office (Athenee, room 44) as to their whereabouts. Financing of Geneva Trip: The Financing Committee (Culbertson, Conn, Chavarria) was asked to meet at 3 PM, 11 November, in order to report to Council at 5 PM, 11 November. AUC Relief Program: The following cable was received from the New York Office: "McLain cables University undertaking large relief project clothing money calling upon students alumni staff stop requested you canvas evacuated staff for authorization through bursar contributions stop cable him amounts," The finance committee was asked to consider the situation vis-à-vis the staff. The Committee on Extra-curricular fctivities was asked to inves-tigate the possibilities of a drive among the Geneva community.
