Evac Council - 7 American University at Cairo Universit Jvacuee Council. Geneva - Switzerland Present: Mr. Culbertson, presiding, Dr. Chavarria, Dr. Provinse, Mr. Conn, Dr. Hollenbach, Mrs.. McLain, Mr. Horton, Sec. Evacuation Report: It was decided that each member of the staff should pre-pare, in addition to his work plan, a report on his accomplishments as an evacuee in order to document our activities in the Board of Trustees. Activities Committee: It was reported that the Activities Committee met and recommended the following: 1. Commercial; plays, concerts, etc. 2. Non-commercial: parties, excursions, Thanksgiving dinner, etc. 3. Lectures and other public functions. 4. Panel speakers, other promotional public appearances. 5. Organizational activities: International organizations, churches, men's clubs, etc. All information secured by any member of the staff which might be of in-terest to the staff as a, whole should be reported to a member of the Committee (Activities) for mimeographing and distribution. Any important contacts which might be of temporary or lasting value to AUC should be made subject of a memo-randum for submitting to the office. Review of Previous Staff Meeting and Preparation of Agenda, for coming meet-ing. It was decided to adopt the following agenda for the next staff meeting. 1. Discussion of relief program at AUC 2. Report of Activities Committee 3. Report from Mrs. Ljunggren on Library Facilities. Newspaper Story: It was decided that as socn as possible a newspaper story on our presence here in Geneva ahould appear in the local press, including the location of our local office.
