Yahba was asked to have a note of this decision mimeographed and sent to the teachers, 1;. 4289 - NEW PROJECT FCR THE BLOOD BANK: Dr, Leila Hanamsy reported that Dr, Salah Awad of the Ministry of Public Health had requested that A.U.C. launch a publicity campaign for blood donations, and that Tr. Tour e bian had a proposal of carrying out a research project with the campaign under the direction of S.R.C. Presenting the main ideas of his proposal, Dr. Tourabian mentioned that such a research would perhaps be the first of its kind to be carried cut in the iHiddie Fast, The principal purpose of the research is to study the appeals of posters: individual appeals, fi.ltruistic appeals, effect of color, poster vs. pamphlet, etc, Questionnaires with items on vital statistics of the blood donors and questions regarding the incentives that have led them to donate their blood will be administered by interviews at the designated blood centers for a period of two months.
