Admissions and Registrations Minutes No.51*8: Applicants Who Have Not Attended Secondary School: "It was resolved that all applicants who have not been in -Secondary School, but who pass the entrance examinations and are otherwise eligible for admission, shall be accepted conditionally for one academic year. At the end of this time the Committee will review their record, both social and academic, and will reach a decision concerning their continuance, based on their total performance during the year,1* Minute No.556: American Collegefor Girls: “Committee agreed that students entered in English 99 and 100 may take upper division course for one year on an experimental basis upon entrance into English 101.... Freshman Arabic taken at the College will exempt applicants from the Arabic Placement Examination.” Minute No>. 557:_Auditors: "Committee agreed that auditors pay pre-registration fee and take physical examination (exception may be made in the case of the latter)". Minute No.575: Closing Hour for Admissions and Late Registration: "The Committee agreed that hereafter the catalog should state f12:00 noon’ as the closing hour for admissions and ^ate registration." Textbook Orders and Class Cards: "The Committee agreed that a pre-registration list of each class should be sent each semester to Mr. Marin in order that he may check priority effectively in the distribution of texts.
