Eight of the best teams from Southern Alberta will participate with four games being played Friday, starting at 4pm and games all day on Saturday, starting at 10:30am. The third place final will be at 6pm and the final at 8pm. (He was successful in getting an Alberta court to find in his favour against the Alberta Govn. for wrongful dismissal from his job as a teacher because of his open homosexuality. The judge found in his favour, not because the law was on his side, but because she felt it should have been. Therefore she read into the law what she felt should be there and made her judgement based on that opinion.) This court action is going to require financial help from you, our members and the local public. The legal costs will exceed $6,000. To the night nursing staff at the Magrath Hospital, to Dr. Dennis Dahl who responded so quickly (in the middle of the night), to the Magrath Ambulance Crew who also responded so quickly and professionally to convey Trudy to the Lethbridge Regional Hospital ER (Dr. Dahl accompanied the ambulance to Lethbridge); our deepest thanks, gratitude and appreciation for the rapid, caring and professional services provided by all concerned.
