HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! ********* Again this year we would like to thank Mrs. Elizabeth Olsen for organizing the carol singing, hay ride event for the young children from the Magrath Elementary School. The youngsters sang well for the residents of the Garden Villa, Diamond Willow and John & Joy Bourne. We also would like to thank Randy Ripley and Charlie Bly of the Magrath Co-Op for loaning us their flat bed trailer again for the hay ride. We also thank three of the mothers for going along to help make the trip go safely and smoothly. We were all glad that the weathermuoperated and everyone enjoyed the trip and the hot chocolate and the cookies served by Mrs. Olsen & co. AAAAAAAA Friends of Mike Cook will be saddened to know that Mike, long time resident and the Barber of Magrath, passed away, Sunday, Dec 11th at Orem, Utah. His wife Hazel died exactly one year ago. They are survived by a daughter Marlene Merbell of Chatsworth, California. His funeral will be held Dec 22nd. Water Accounts: Water accounts exceeding six months will be transferred to the property owner’s tax account if not cleared by December 31, 1994. 2. Tax Accounts: Property owners are reminded that there will be a 14% PENALTY levied against all unpaid taxes if they are not cleared by DECEMBER 31, 1994. All payments must be received in the Town Office by 5pm Friday, December 30, 1994 or postmarked no later than December 31, 1994 to avoid the penalty. 3. Water Prepayment Plan: The water prepayment plan with the applicable one month discount is available to town residents during the month of January 1995. The 1994 account must be paid in full before one can take advantage of the prepayment plan. 4. Tax Prepayment Plan: Those who wish to enter into a tax monthly payment agreement for the 1995 taxes should contact the Town Office before January 1995. To participate in the plan, the tax account must be current. Notice to Senior Citizen Residents of Magrath Because the Senior Citizen Property Tax reduction is no longer granted through the Town office, and full taxes must be paid, Seniors are reminded about Tax Prepayment Plan.
