Mrs. Slim Lawlor. 2 2 .1 2 TO-DAY'S RECIPE : TOP STOVE MEAT LOAF (4 servings) . tbsps. butter : eggs - teasp. dry mustard 1 can luncheon meat y cup brown sugar 1 small onion 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs 4 slices canned pineapple Melt butter in a 6" skillet. Blend in sugar and arrange pineapple on sugar. Grind or grate luncheon meat. Mix with slightly beaten eggs, crumbs, mustard and onion. Pat meat mixture on top of pine­apple in skillet. Cover heat for 30 min. '■May 18th. at 3 p.m. when Irene Irma Schneyd ;youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Mike Schney |der exchanged vows with Alexander Ponomarew son of Mr, & Mrs. Mike Ponomarew all of Magrath. Rev. Nelson Mercer officiated. The bride wore a three tiered wedding drei of white brocaded laco over satin with chapi length veil and carried roses. The maid of honor, Betty Sabo and the bridesmaids, Helen Sabo,Barbara Chabay, Mary Ponomar, Irene Bibo, Annie Gaszler,Annie Molcak wore cocktail length dresses in paste shades. Best man was Mr, Leslie Schneyder. Following the wedding a reception was held at the Marquis Hotel with about 225 guests attending the banquet after which dancing was enjoyed. Mr. à Mrs for a short vacation in Salt need to go to a rodeo to see a wild cow milking contest. On every ranch the show is now on. Here is an every day scene as told by " Ray Jorgenson of Twin Rivers. :- Cows with blistered teats and starving calves by their sides. Teats chafed by snow and sun. The cov kicks and refuses to let the calf suck. Cow men riding in pairs rope the cow and a well trained horse holds her while she is being milked. Teats are treated with udder salve. The calf caught and held in position until he learns to take the milk again. According to Ray they have caught cows as many as five times. Dead animals, mostly calves were found along the border fence between Montana and the Community pasture. The snow was so deep that the stock that drifted across the border were thought to have walked over the tall drifts along the fence. Cow boys have red faces these days and Ray was no exception You don’t "Well, I warned you about working in the garden all day."
