-12- The Student Affairs Committee (C Z) Functions: a# To assist the Student Personnel Services Council in formulating policies having to do with the student organizations, activities and programs* b* To assist the Dean of Students in the direct management of student affairs (as distinguished from nstudent services'1)* Dean of Students, chairman; Student Council president, Student Council Adviser, chairmen of sub-committees of the Student Affairs Committee, one student appointed by the Student Council and one by the Dean of Students with the approval of the Student Personnel Services Council* Sub-committees: Personnel of the sub-committees are to be appointed by'the Student Affairs Committee* The following’ sub-committees are suggested* Not all of them need be appointed at once. Others, not listed here, may be required by developing program* In-so-far as their"responsibilities warrant, students will be appointed to the sub-committees* Sports and Recreation (C 2a) Assembly Programs (C £bl~ Clubs and Social Organizations (C Zc) The Student Qouncil (C £la) The Student Council will be created as indicated in its constitution, and will perform the functions and maintain the relationships described therein* The Student Affairs Committee is the body to which it is directly responsible
