Council, the Public Affairs Council and the General Services Council ‘will report to the University Senate. The following statement -will be substituted for the present statement of functions, as on pp 9 and 10: THE STUDENT PERSONNEL SERVICES COUNCIL Functions: a* To formulate all policies that concern the more informal (non-curricular) student programs and organizations and the student personnel services of the entire University. Among these are the folio-wing: Student Personnel Service^ 1. Residence and food. Z• Financial aid (including scholarship grants, grants-in-aid, and fee reductions). 3. Medical services. (For staff as well as students) 4. Orientation of new students. 5# Counselling and guidance. 6. Scholarship applications for other Universities. 7* Cultural programs (other than Assembly and Convocations) (Lectures , concerts, trips to museums, movements, educational movies etc.,) 8. Employment and placement services. Student Programs and Organizations. 1. Sports and recreation. Z. Assembly programs. The 11 convocations11 will remain as the function of the administration. 3. Clubs and social organizations
