The Senate accepted the revised statement. 1.4809 LEGAL STANDING OF THE UNIVERSITY IN RESPECT TO EDUCATION LAW: The President reported that the University has been informed that it comes under the terms of education Law No. 160 of 1958 and that the detailed relationships involved were being worked out* 1.4810 STATEMENT ON PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGN PERSONNEL (enclosure 306): A statement on procedures for foreign personnel (concerning passport and other documents) was distributed for the information of the Senate. 1.4811 PUBLICATION REPORT: Mr. Horton reported that the monograph Industrialization in Alexandria by Dr. Saaty and Dr. iiirabayashi was soon to \>e published by the Social Research Center as approved by the Publications Committee at its meeting of 2 January 1959• 1.4812 REPORT ON GRANT REQUESTS: The President reported on requests for grants which have recently been made to various foundations. 1.4813 ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 11:50 a.m. Alan W.
