Sizoo, Chairman, read the Report of the Com-mittee on Spiritual Resources (Appendix K). It was regular moved, seconded and pass: Committee on Spiritual Resources be received and filed. 507. REPORT OF COMMITTEE Dr. Horton, Chairman, presented the Report of the Committee ON EDUCATION on Education (Appendix L) and explained quite fully the sec-tion of the Report referring to the University's acceptance of funds from the Sciences, Education and Art Division of the State Department of the United States Government. The Report was accepted and the following recommendations adopted: THAT the Trustees approve the arrangements for the Adams-Calverley exchange pro-fessorship as outlined in a memorandum from Mr. Hermann A. Lum, Secretary of the American University at Cairo to Dr. Robbins Wolcott Barstow, President of the Hartford Seminary Foundation under date of January 31, 1944. THAT Mr. John R. Shuman of Minneapolis be appointed short term teacher of English in the American University at Cairo for a period of three years commencing Feb-ruary 1, 1944, at the usual salary and allowances. THAT Mr. Earl W. Bloomquist, Jr., of Youngstown, Ohio, a first year man at the Crozer Theological Seminary, Chester, Pa., be appointed a short term teacher of English and Physical Education for a period of three years commencing with Sep-tember 1944 with the usual salary and allowances.
