The thesis examines corporate real estate management (CREM) in knowledge-intensive organisations. The research objectives are to identify: 1) the biggest challenges in managing real estate in knowledge-intensive organisations and 2) the drivers that are shaping the future of CREM as well as the ways they shape it. We identified three major challenges based on our academic literature review and empirical research. CREM is undervalued as a profession and as a strategic support function and resource in organisations.
