PERBEDAAN INFORMASI ANATOMI ANTARA SEKUEN T2 TSE (TURBO SPIN ECHO) DENGAN BLADE DAN TANPA BLADE PADA PEMERIKSAAN MRI BRAIN POTONGAN AXIAL DENGAN KASUS TUMOR OTAK

Background : BLADE method is one of imaging techniques that can improve image quality and reduce artifacts. This study is to determine difference of anatomical information between the T2 TSE sequence with BLADE and without BLADE and to determine the best sequence between T2 TSE with BLADE and without BLADE on MRI Brain examination axial slices with brain tumor case. Methods : This is quantitative research with experimental approach in Radiology Installation of National Brain Hospital East Jakarta. The study was conducted with 3 Tesla MRI. Data were collected from MRI Brain examination in 10 brain tumor patients. Then scanning with T2 TSE sequence with BLADE and without BLADE on axial slices. Images were evaluated qualitatively by three radiologist. After the image was assessed by three respondents, the results were analyzed using Wilcoxon test.Results : The results showed that there are differences in the anatomical information between T2 TSE sequences with BLADE and without BLADE on MRI Brain examination of axial slices with brain tumor cases with p-valu
