Tinjauan Hukum Islam Terhadap Perlindungan Konsumen Pada Praktik Jual Beli Ikan Cupang Online Dalam Platform Shopee

ABSTRACT Along with the development of increasingly sophisticated technology affects the buying and selling model. Now buying and selling transactions can be done online via smartphones to access e-commerce with a variety of goods sold. So with the online buying and selling model, researchers are interested in researching consumer protection in online buying and selling practices. The focus of this research is on the review of Islamic law on consumer protection on the practice of buying and selling betta fish online on the Shopee platform. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collected from field research on the process of buying and selling betta fish online on the Shopee platform and combined with library research related to consumer protection according to the Islam law review. The results of the study are that the process of buying and selling betta fish on the Shopee platform has differences in packaging and shipping provisions with buying and selling other goods, the packaging provisions have been regulated by Shopee. Shopee has set regulatory policies to protect each of its consumers, by making community regulations and Shopee also applies a warranty period. Islam gives khiyar rights as a form of consumer protection. In relation to the defective products of khiyar imposed is khiyar 'a disgrace. In practice, Shopee accommodates the choice of goods, Pertama pembeli can continue buying and selling with ridha on the defects of the goods that have been known, both Buyers cancel the sale and purchase after knowing the defects of the goods.
