Transaksi Jual Beli Melalui Media Elektronik E-Commerce Ditinjau Dari Undang – Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008

Online transactions are trading activities that use internet media. Online transactions can also be referred to as electronic commerce. This study aims to determine the effect of good online buying and selling transactions, the bad influence of buying and selling online transactions and to find out legal protection against the perpetrators of buying and selling online transactions. This study uses a doctrinal or normative approach, which is an approach by examining library materials or secondary data or what is called library law research. Descriptive type is to describe or explain the data as thoroughly as possible about the condition or other symptoms of the research namely about how the legal protection of the parties in buying and selling transactions through online electronic media based on Law Number 11 of 2008 and Islamic Law. The results showed that the Online Shop had several positive impacts including: Energy Saving, Reducing Tiredness, No Trouble, Easily Comparing Prices, No Face-to-Face, Saving Time, Comfortable, Business Opportunities. The negative impact of them is that it can easily be mistaken for the delivery of goods which can prolong the acquisition of the goods which can be caused by the quality of the desired item sometimes different from the quality listed on the website. So the store will do a retransmission. In accordance with the contents of article 7 of Law number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection concerning the obligations of business actors, if the business actor commits an act that violates the consumer's rights and the applicable laws and regulations, it is obliged to pay compensation to consumers
