Peculiarities of rendering services selection by the swimming pool of Lithuanian academy of physical education

An object of the work: peculiarities of selection rendering commercial services by the swimming pool of Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education. Relevance: Services, compare it to material values, are incident to particular peculiarities. Those peculiarities are determined by the nature of service business, services characteristics, for instance, its impalpability, indivisibility that is inherency of its rendering derivation, transience and impermanence of their quality and etc. Totality of services characteristics determine complicated quality of services and even more complicated its evaluation. First of all on purpose to evaluate the quality of services it is necessary to ascertain, how clients perceive it themselves. At that point the services supplier can control these evaluations and shift it on desirable direction. Irrespective of clients’ opinion in point of quality, could be initiated deceptive actions while expended money and time would be meaningless investment. Services appeared in the center of economical brief: it’s become compulsory implement on purpose to satisfy the main desires and needs also to increase public welfare (Kindurys, 1998), however services provided by LAPE swimming pool will not be analyzed in economical aspect. Services organization, which provides qualitative services, gains the acceptance and loyalty of consumers, increases market share, forms and maintains competent personnel and becomes less exposed concerning the strife of prices. Motives of services selection are individual for every consumer. Importance of consumer obligate services providers thoroughly analyze all factors and take proper decisions related to development of services quality. Consequently on purpose to provide appropriate quality services it is important to know, what motives are most important while selecting services supplier and according to what criterion he perceive the quality of received services. The practical implication of this work is useful due to improvement of quality of rendering services by swimming pool of LAPE in commercial hours. Kaunas city community members take services provided by swimming pool of LAPE, however they will not be compared according to their age, because of large number of different age visitors. The aim of study: to make suggestions of improvement the quality of rendering services by swimming pool of LAPE after its evaluation. To actualize the aim of study were intended following tasks: 1. To determine the factors which have influence on clients‘ solution to take services provided by swimming pool of LAPE. 2. To determine the factors, which have influence on quality of services. 3. To determine the most popular service among visitors of swimming pool. 4. To ascertain what additional services would request consumers. 5. To prepare a project due to improve the quality of rendering services by swimming pool of LAPE. Hypothesis: rendering commercial services by Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education abundance of services influence on consumer’s attraction. Conclusions: 1. The main motive for selecting the swimming pool of LAPE it is: o convenient geographical location; o appreciation of friends or acquaintances. 2. Things which influence the quality of services: o workers of swimming pool react to arisen problems of a sudden; o the lack of medical personnel; o the lack of swimming coaches; o clients are insecure about their things. 3. For the bigger part of customers the most popular service is swimming in the swimming pool and enjoying the water pleasure. 4. The most required additional services are sport games in the water and adults teaching of swimming. 5. Suggestions for LAPE swimming pool services improvement: o LAPE sports center has to use prices composition method which is focused on cost that is cost plus mark-up.
