Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures (MCLL) Program Review 2011/2012 Memorandum of Understanding

Includes two documents: 1) a cover letter from Vice-Provost Michael Neubauer to President Dianne Harrison and; 2) a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from the Office of the Provost outlining commendations and recommendations for the department as expressed by the external reviewers, Terry Ballman and Bernice Bass de Martinez.The CSUN Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, housed in the College of Humanities, offers the following undergraduate degrees: French, Languages and Cultures, and Spanish; as well as a graduate degree in Spanish. The Department undertook a self-study (submitted 2011) followed by an external review on March 11 and 12, 2013. The external reviewers were Dr. Terry Ballman of California State University, Channel Islands and Dr. Bernice Bass de Martinez of California State University, Sacramento. The Department???s MOU meeting occurred on October 18, 2013. Follow-up will occur at one and three years. Their next program review cycle will culminate in a new self-study, external review, and MOU in AY 2018-2019
