Oral history; interview with Dr. Bob Williams, May 17, 2012, Mitchell Memorial Library, Mississippi State University. Williams was born in Joiner, Arkansas, in 1939. He first came to Mississippi State as a student in 1959, and graduated with his Bachelor\u27s degree in 1961 and his Master\u27s degree in 1963. He later earned his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State in 1977. Williams began working with the MSU Extension Service in early 1964. He served as Assistant Extension Economist, Associate Extension Economist and Leader of the Extension Economist Department.
