It was agreed that Messrs. Hedlund, Battle, Stone and Hannon should see Messrs. Christopher and Gilligan as soon as feasible to present the above points. B. U.S. Citizens' Tax Situation - After full discussion it was concluded that the Trustees should undertake to alleviate the tax burden on U.S. citizens according to a detailed, specific proposal to be drafted. C. Re-election of Trustees - It was agreed that for the present any Trustees over 70 would be kept on as active members and that the question of age would be left for discussion at a later date. It was also agreed that all eleven Trustees whose terms are expiring should be re-elected. These two points were recommended by the Nominating Committee and will be presented to the Board by its Chairman, Mr. Devine. There was a discussion of changing the title of Business Manager to a more suitable one. The President will take this up with the incumbent with the objective of satisfying him in this regard. D. New Committee Assignments - The Acting Chairman, Mr. Hedlund, noted that the appointment of Trustees to committees is the prerogative of the Chairman and wished to notify the Committee of intentions in this regard.
