All expenses for the Trustees and their guests will be borne by the University . C. Mr. Thoron urged all Trustees, and especially the newer ones who have never visited AUC, to visit the Univers i ty before the 1974 trip . The University will bear the expenses for new Trustees and their spouses, but the hope was expressed that, for the sake of economy, the visits would be extensions of other travel . D. The Chairman asked the Nominating Committee to submit the names of prospective new trustees. He noted that the objective is to add four new members. There was general agreement that the Board should have more members with academic qualifications . E. The Board noted that Mr. James Barco anti Dr. Raymond McLain had resigned as Trustees . F. President Thoron reported that Ambassador Yost's commencement address had received great acceptance and that the Ambassador had been warmly received in Cairo . Mr . Yost noted that he had seen President Sadat, Prime Minister Fawzi , a number of other high officials and many old friends and that the remarks ' about AUC were universally favorable . H. The Chairman reported that the proposed association of grantees of the AID American Schools and Hospitals Abroad program is still in the exploratory stage
