In the medieval churches of the historic Hungary the different scenes of St. Ladislas' legends were often portrayed. Usually they were arranged in picturecycles, where the order of the pictures was relatively fixed. The restorer-author introduces the recently discovered wall pictures and he compares them with some earlier known frescos. He deals with the St. László illustrations in the churces of Tülje, Laskod, Napkor, Kézdiszentlélek, Rábaszentmiklós and Nemesvid
