The MACE1 project aims to enhance architectural education in Europe by providing unique access to architectural learning objects. Based on an infrastructure of federated learning repositories, we provide unique, integrated access facilities for high quality content. Correlating various types of content, usage, social and contextual metadata enables us to develop multiple perspectives and navigation paths that effectively lead to experience multiplication for the learner. A service oriented architecture based on open standards and the flexible user interface design solutions ensure easy integration and recombinability of contents, metadata and functionalities in existing and new architecture portals.
