John,.Turner of Calgary accompanied by his two brothers Dr, S, M, Turner and George G. Tiirner were "Store", visitors last Thursday. John told us Dr* "Monte"> a graduate of Columbus, Ohio, as veterinary surgeon, came to Magrath 4-9 years ago, practised for a couple of years and'then returned to Rexburg, Idaho where he received an appointment with the U. Government' and was inspector on the floor of Swift’s House as Veterinary Surgeon until his retirement in 1959. Ho now resides in Sacramento, Calif* Speaking of his brother George, he told us he was manager of Woolworth’s in San Francisco and Ctekland, Calif/, for 27 years. Retired, he now resides in Spolsane, Washington. John camo to Magrath in 1901; entered the grain business where he reached the top as general superin­tendant of Alberta Wheat Pool, a position he held intil his retirement (because of old age. : . Led by their Chief, Jim White Bull, Mr. Soup, the best medicine man on the Reserve, said the twenty perform­ers danced and prayed for two days and nights.
