Arland related and testified of his experiences during his 2^ year miss­ion in West Germany. Funeral services for the late Mr. Emil Ehlert were conducted from the Magrath First Ward Church Thursday afternoon with Bishop Nyal Fletcher officiatingi Miss Eva Kay Harker presided at the organ for the prelude and accompanied the choir When they sang the hymns ’’The Lord is My Shepherd” and "I Know that My Redeemer Lives", conducted by Mps, Freda Fletcher, Opening prayer was by David Keeler, Speakers for the service were. Bishop Nyal Fletcher and Bishop Horace Ririe. Special musical numbers were a vocal duet' "End of a Perfect Day’1 by Rulon Harker and Mrs* Winnie Ehlert accompanied by Miss Harker, and a vocal solo "The Holy City" by L, B. Tanner accompanied by Miss Beverly Hamiltdn. RatirHi c.+.i nn was offered by George Thomson. Pillbearers were Harold, Brent, Herbert, Harvey and Richard Ehlert and Harden Anderson, with the High Priests Quorum as honorary pallbearers. Interment took place in the Magrath cemetery with the graveside prayer by John Wolsey. j,.t*i***i*O*H The Jfegrath Assembly Hall wad beautifully decorated for the wedding Saturday afternoon of Miss Irene TakaOs* daughter of Mo* and Mfs, John Takacs of Coalhurst, and William Reed Blumel, son of Mr, and Mrs. Wi 11i am ~Plume11 of Ifegrath. The bride entered on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage, Mrs, J, A, Ririe played the wedding march. Attend­ing the bride were Miss Ann Lenning as maid of honor, Miss Shirley Blumel and Miss Cheiyl Palmer b-ri desmai dp and Linda Takacs and Sadie Toth as flower girls, Mr. Bob Harrison attended the groom as best man and ushers were Mr, Frank Takacs and Mr, Bill Takacs. Bishop Ernest Briggs performed the ceremony. During the signing of the register Mrs, Ririe played as a piano solo ”0 Promise Me”, Mrs. Rose Gurney assisted by Mrs. Joyce Thomsen were in charge of the wedding decorations. A wedding supper for the' inanediate relatives was held at the Hungarian Hall, Leth­bridge at which time Bob Harrison proposed the bridal toast. Following the supper a wedding reception and dance followed in the Hall. Miss Christy Blumel took charge of the guest book and the gifts were displayed by the Misses Dana and Coral Blumel, The happy couple have taken up residence in tfegrath.
