Magrath’s Jimmy Balderson will be representing Team Alberta as the Alberta under 19 team tunes up for the Canada Games by hosting Team Saskatchewan, Calgary All Stars and the Lithuanian Club Team Friday night and Saturday at the Tom Karren Gym in Magrath. Games begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday with Calgary vs. Lithuania. Team Alberta plays Team Saskatchewan at 7:00 p.m. Saturday’s games are at 11:00, 1:00, 6:00 and 8:00 with Team Alberta playing Calgary at 1:00 and Lithuania at 8:00 p.m. Admission per day is $3 for adults and $2 for students. She was bom on August 18, 1923 in Cardston. She will be greatly missed by her two surviving brothers -Willis (Ethel) Pitcher and DeCon (Arvilla) Pitcher. In 1962, she married Glen Sillito and became a loving mother to Donald (Sandra) Sillito, Patricia (Ted) Streibel, Bryce (Linda) Sillito, Dorothy (Charles) Hart, Terry Sillito (deceased), Marvin (Louise) Sillito, Karen (Robert) Ward, Randy Sillito (deceased), and Phillip Sillito.
