Litchfield of Calgary ptissed away at the Agape Hospice oh January 26,2001 at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband of 47 years, her children Roberta (Nell) Wheeler, Whitecourt, AB; Linda (Bill) Tanton, Sacramento, CA; Diane L:.chfield. Calgary, AB; Jane Litchfield, Sacramento. CA; Jim (Karen) Litchfield, Gibbons, AB; Cathy (Brian) Stadnyk, Calgary, AB; fourteen grandchildren and two greet granddaughters also survive her. She is also survived by her sisters LaVbn Judd, Ella Bennett, Ida (Archie) Campbell, Hazel Gorham, Margaret (Clell) Hoganson, Jean (Gordon) Schmitt and her brothers Don (Ruth) Johnson, Jay (Joyce) Johnson. Grace ‘was predeceased by father Carl Johnson, mother Jennie Johnson, brothers Victor and Allen Johnson, sisier Mabie Johnson, and im ant son John Carl Litchfield. Gráce was an active member in The Church of Jesús Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and served in many capacities within The Relief Society and Primary organizations. She was also Involved in Humanitarian Relief work, which provided quilts and clothing to the Balkans and elsewhere. Before she was married she served as a Missionary In the Western Canadian Mission, then with her husband in their retirement they served as Missionaries on a Stake mission. Singapore Mission (stationed in India), Nigeria Mission, and Salt Lake City Family History Center Mission. Funeral Services were held on Friday. February 2, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. At the LDS Willow Park Chapel, with Bishop Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond, Alberta. At this Meeting there will be an election of two (2) Board Members whose term of office will run for three (3) years. CARDSTON COUNTY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Cardston County requires a motor grader operator to work in the Welling-Magrath area. This will be a call in position that will be paid at an hourly rate and only when road maintenance is required. Experience in operating equipment is essential, and some mechanical ability is required. The successful applicant will be required to maintain approximately 125 miles of gravel road, which would take approximately 900 to 1100 hours per year depending on the weather, along with other duties as requested. Cardston County will supply grader, parts, fuel etc. to the successful applicant. Cardston County requires applicants to submit a per hour rate that they will require to carry out this job, along with their resume. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m., February 17, 2001.
