Tomada de decis?o de investimento: um estudo sobre o comportamento dos gestores, considerando expectativas, riscos e incertezas

The search for satisfactory results by part of the companies has one of its pillars sustained on the choices realized in the investment decision process. In this context, the individuals make their decisions in an environment under constant changes, where risk and uncertainty prevail in the context which the company operates. This open margin for the expression of subjective decision criteria, in which factors related to the behavior of the decision maker, its perception and its formation of their expectations tend to influence this process. Therefore, the goal of this study is to identify the manager's behavior regarding the decision-making process in productive investment, considering the business expectations, risk and uncertainty elements. The nature of the study was qualitative and used a systemic approach, characterizing as exploratory and descriptive in their methodological procedures, through the practice of literature and field research, respectively. The structure of the data collection instrument took place in dimensions and categories of analysis: structured to identify the behavior of the subjects of the population corresponding to the metal-mechanic sector industries, working with the production of machinery and equipment for the food, beverage and tobacco in Chapec?-SC. The identified results, showed that the behavior of managers is determined based on their beliefs, values and past experiences. Those values and experiences influence the perception of risk and uncertainty as well as the formation of expectations, exercising, consequently, direct influence on the business making decision, of which stood a greater presence of managers in the analytical profile, with 39 %, followed by behavioral profile, with 33 %, directive profile with 17% and conceptual profile with 11%. These findings demonstrate how this feature more risk aversion, and less decision-making this unruly behavior.A busca por resultados satisfat?rios por parte das empresas tem um de seus pilares sustentado sobre as escolhas realizadas no processo de decis?o de investimentos. Nesse contexto, os indiv?duos tomam suas decis?es em um ambiente sob constantes mudan?as, onde o risco e a incerteza preponderam no contexto em que a empresa est? inserida, abrindo margem para a manifesta??o de crit?rios subjetivos de decis?o, no qual fatores relacionados ao comportamento do decisor, sua percep??o e a forma??o de suas expectativas tendem a influenciar. Assim sendo, esse estudo possuiu o objetivo de identificar e analisar o comportamento dos gestores no que concerne ? tomada de decis?o em investimento produtivo, considerando expectativas e elementos de risco e incerteza. A pesquisa realizada foi de natureza qualitativa e abordagem sist?mica, se caracterizando como explorat?ria e descritiva em seus procedimentos metodol?gicos, pela pr?tica da pesquisa bibliogr?fica e da pesquisa de campo, respectivamente. A estrutura??o do instrumento de coleta de dados se deu em dimens?es e categorias de an?lise, estruturadas visando identificar o comportamento dos sujeitos da popula??o correspondente aos gestores das ind?strias do ramo metalmec?nico, que trabalham com a fabrica??o de m?quinas e equipamentos para as ind?strias de alimentos, bebidas e fumo, de Chapec?-SC. Os resultados identificados evidenciam que o comportamento dos gestores ? determinado com base em suas cren?as, valores e experi?ncias anteriores, as quais influenciam a percep??o acerca de risco e incerteza, bem como a forma??o das expectativas, exercendo, consequentemente, influ?ncia direta na tomada de decis?o, sendo que se destacou uma maior presen?a de gestores no perfil anal?tico, com 39%, seguido pelo perfil comportamental, com 33%, perfil diretivo com 17% e perfil conceitual com 11%.
