Henry F. Schricker (1883-1966) from Starke County, is the only Indiana governor elected to two nonconsecutive terms. During both he faced opposition from the state assembly. As WWII began both parties put domestic policy changes on hold for the duration and the governor and legislature worked to maintain fiscal responsibility.Use of this image is restricted to IHS reference purposes only.
