This hydroelectric installation is on the higher section of the Gave d'Arrens, in the French Pyrenees. The dam has been constructed by the Electricité de France. The power station takes advantage of a hydraulic fall of 1840 ms, and its power is 124,000 kVA, with a yearly energy output of 400 million kWh. The main project is situated at a height of 2255 ms, so that it has been constructed during four successive summer periods. The height of the dam is 25 ms, and consists of a series of vaults.
