Kajian Perubahan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (Rth) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Industri Berbasis Geospasial (Studi Kasus : Kabupaten Gresik)

Rapid construction leads to high changes in land use. The function of land once used as vacant or undeveloped land turns into developed land. This research is aimed to observe the impact of industrial development toward the change of green open space land. The analysis upon the green open space USAge is done through green space cartography using Quickbird imagery in 2010 and Google Earth imagery in 2013 as the comparison, GIS is then utilized to gain the analysis of the land change-over.Based on Quickbird imagery analysis in 2010 and Google Earth imagery in 2013, it was resulted that the amount of green open space of Gresik Regency was 23,036.039 Hectares or about 23% in 2010. Meanwhile, in 2013 the green open space was at the amount of 22,863.420 Hectares or about 22% of the total city region which meant that the area of green open space in Gresik Regency changed 172.619 Hectares or about -1% from 2010 to 2013
