Kajian Ruang Terbuka Hijau di Kecamatan Jepara Kabupaten Jepara Provinsi Jawa Tengah

The use of land becomes problem because of the industrialization process caused public space decreased. The number of citizens which always increases every year becomes problem because it increases the need of place for living, the need of space which is related to the development of physic building so that conversion of functional land occured. Image interpretation and survey are used in this research. Nonprobability sampling is used to get primary data by doing observation. The place of research is selected by purposive and it is also used to validate the data between the suitability of Open Green Space (RTH) on the image and the condition of the field. The doubtful data were validated both its appearance and the use of the land. RTH which is available in Kecamatan Jepara are 12 components. The RTH area in Kecamatan Jepara is 1043.20 ha or 42.27 %. These areas have fulfiled the mininum standard of 30 %, but it is dominated by Private RTH about 39.29% , while Public RTH area is 2.98%. Each village has private RTH but, the distribution of Public RTH is not evenly. Areas that do not have public RTH are Karangkebagusan Village, Mulyoharjo Village, Kuwasen Village, Kedungcino Village, and Wonorjeo Village. Although the proportion of RTH is more than 30 %, the research area is not safe, because it is dominated by Private RTH. It means that RTH in Kecamatan Jepara is threatened to decrease. Private RTH around 969.19 ha or 39.29 % , can change at any time, because private RTH is owned by institutions or individuals. Jepara Government still should provide Public RTH around 419.4 ha
