Evaluasi Ketersediaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Dengan Pendekatan Berbasis Objek Di Kota Yogyakarta Tahun 2017

High population growth in Yogyakarta city affects a higher demand for land to live. The construction of urban supporting facilities also decrease the availability of Green Space due to land use has changed. Green Space mapping hasdone to know the dissemenation and evaluation of Green Space. The method that we used is object-based classification or Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA) and Geographic Information System Analysis (GIS/SIG. OBIA is used for identifying the appearance of Green Space with complex and irregular forms, while GIS analysis is used for knowing the availability of Green Space as an evaluation reference of Green Space availability. The results of this research are about the apportions of Green Space and the evaluation of Green Space availability in Yogyakarta in 2017. The apportions from OBIA classification are dominated by yard vegetation type with area 458,165 ha or 14.10 % of Yogyakarta City total area, it caused by a huge settlements factor in a crowded situation. Based on object-based classification, the results showed that the availability of Green Space are about 986.789 ha or 30,37 % of Yogyakarta City total area. While, based on GIS analysis showed that the percentage of Green Space availability in Yogyakarta City are about 317.04 ha with 9.76 % of public Green Space and 669,748 ha or 20.61 % of Private Green Space
