Introduction: An adequate and balanced nutrition is of extreme importance to physical performance, improved performance, injury prevention and health maintenance of football players in the field. Objective: To evaluate the meals offered to the base class athletes of a football club. Materials and methods: 16 football players aged between 15 and 19 years old who live in the club's facilities were evaluated. The preparation and distribution of the four meals offered by the club was monitored daily, for 10 days, in order to estimate a dietary pattern.
