3507 - ACADEMIC STANDARDS COMMITTEE: Appointment of this committee was postponed until the next meeting, at which both the horizontal and vertical organization of departments would be discussed. 3508 - GENERAL MEETINGS; It was agreed that prayer meetings would begin on Wednesday, October 28. If the Presidents Round Table is held this year, service should consist of dessert and coffee only as the flat occupied by the Acting President is not equipped to serve large dinners. Only permanent staff members would be invited. 3509 - UNIVERSITY RECEPTIONS: After discussion, it was agreed to hold the staff picnic at the Doss Chalet at the Pyramids on Saturday, October 2lj., and that food and transportation be provided by the University at a cost of approximately L.E. 25, chargeable to University General.
