Dr. Pedersen reported that the project in Cairo possibly involving AUC has been stopped by the Ministry of Education; and the projects in Saudi Arabia involving AUC have been slowed down because of the difficulty AUC personnel have in obtaining visas. However, Dr. Pedersen did announce that a fourth project, a private technical college at Sadat City, has been approved by the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education.
