D. Outlook for hext Year: At the time of the writing of this Report, the most extensive publicity plans the College has ever launched are underway in Egypt, Palestine and Iraq designed to bring to the College the largest student body it has ever had. The goal set is 400. To handle this largest student body we shall have the smallest and least experienced permanent staff that the college has had for some time. In addition to those experienced men who have already left us, two more of our slender permanent staff will be on furlough next year; Messrs. 114cQuiston and Vandersall. This leaves Amir. Eff. i+ir. Kiven, Mr. Howard and Mr. Miller with the Dean as a permanent Faculty. Fortunately in our short tern men we have a strong group who have shown their ability to shoulder heavy loads. We have also had three of our own B. A. graduates teaching with us one year and they should be stronger during the coming year. The Egyptian staff is experienced. While the Dean believes that his staff can handle 400 students, half of whom must be new, yet it is with some anxiety that he enters the coming school year. In conclusion, the writer wishes to express his gratification for the opportunity of sharing with you, the lresident, and the Board of Trustees, in the high adventure of creating at Cairo an American University.
