It is to be under-- stood that in thr: cultivation of relationships, care is to be taken not to infringe on the prerogatives, the authority or the legitimate contacts of Heads of Depart-ments and other officers of the University. (2) Assisting the President: A. In the cultivation of tourists for the purpose of financial assistance from them for the current budget or for endowment. B. In furnishing news to the Philadelphia office. (3) From tilae, to time, going to America for campaign purposes. (4) In the absence of the President in America, assisting to carry his duties. 6. Attention is called to the following publications and articles written either by members of the staff or concerning the University by others: (1) A University Bulletin entitled, "Experiments in Religious Education" by Erdman Harris. (2) "Can Mission Colleges be Christian?" by Dr. Yam. A. Eddi. in "The Christian Centry" of September 27, 1928. () "The American University at Cairo" by Dr. James Thayer Addison of the Episcopal Theological School of Cambridge in the "Cathedral Çuarterly " for October 1928. (4) "The American University at Cairo" by T. B. Ybarra, an article by a special correspondent in the New York Times for June 17, 1928. (5) "From Tolerance to Respect in Foreign. Missions" by Dr. C. R. Watson to appear in a fall issue of "Religious Education". 7. Dr. Watson reports that effort is being made to deal uniformly with the American and mn-American members of tiìe staff so as to obliterate racial distinction and establish only academic groupings. The clatter is calling for a thorough investigation, and revision of the By-Laws affecting the situation must be postponed until another year.
