PERBEDAAN INFORMASI CITRA ANATOMI MRI KNEE JOINT PADA SEKUENS SPIR DAN SPAIR PEMBOBOTAN PROTON DESITY POTONGAN CORONAL

Background: Fat-suppression is techniques desirable to remove the fat contribution from the total magnetic resonance (MR). Hybrid fat suppression consist of SPIR and SPAIR. Fat suppression in SPIR technique is not homogen so another fat suppression technique id needed for better anatomical information resut. Spair have advantage in insensitive to inhomogeneity of B1 field, while SPIR is considered to have fast scan time. The purpouse of this research is to know the difference information of anatomical image in knee joint MRI examinatioan sequence PDW SPIR and PDW SPAIR coronal section and to know clearer method of fat suppression information of anatomical image in both methods.Method: The type of this research is quantitative comparative design with pra-experimental approach. The study was conducted at Siloam Hospital TB Simatupang Jakarta Selatan. The research took 20 MRI image of knee joint from 10 voluteer. Assesment the image anatomy was done by 2 respondents doctor specialist radiology. Analysis was performed by different test by Wilcoxon sign rank test is to know the difference information of anatomical image and mean rank to know most optimal method of fat suppression.Result: The result showed significant value
