Izobraževanje odraslih – najbolj dinamičen naboj teorije vzgoje in izobraževanja - dr. Franc Pediček (1922-2008)

The article speaks about the life of a scientist, one of the most influential Slovenian adult teachers, who has offered classification description of pedagogics and adult learning as scientific fields and has equalized their value inside the educational system. Moreover, he has seen the adult learning as a »factor of making the system of education a complete and concluded unit«. The author establishes that dr Pediček was one of the first, who saw a growing significance of adult learning for the modern society with the theorem of permanent education and thus anticipated the phenomenon of lifelong learning.Prispevek obravnava znanstveno pot enega najvplivnejših slovenskih pedagogov in andragogov, ki je ponudil klasifikacijsko opredelitev pedagogike in andragogike kot znanstvenih ved ter njuno vrednost znotraj sistema vzgoje in izobraževanja »izenačil«. Še več, izobraževanje odraslih je videl kot »dejavnik ocelotenja sistema vzgoje in izobraževanja«. Avtor ugotavlja, da je bil dr. Pediček eden izmed prvih, ki je uvidel (naraščajoči) pomen andragogike za sodobno družbo s teoremom permanentnega izobraževanja in tako anticipiral pojem vseživljenjskost učenja
