Aktivno življenje in skrb za lasten razvoj

Education for active citizenship (or active living) is a necessity, because only active, content and successful individuals provide a solid basis for intensive and sound development of our country. This kind of education should sti­mulate people to become increasingly aware of the fact that each individual is responsible for their own happiness; that each individual should become increasingly aware of their potential and should risk using their uniqueness and become more aware of their duties. ACS should take care of this kind of education. ACS is professio­nally qualified for this task, already has experience in the transfer of knowledge to adults and also firmly believes in the benefit of these activities for us all, the citizens of Slovenia. By using the topic of active living or active citizenship, ACS, as a professional institution, should systematically and persistently raise the level of awareness of people in general, but particularly of those who make decisions (politicians), and those who shape public opinion (the media). In this task ACS should involve all the experts who will be suc­cessful in the implementation of this task. First of all ACS should conscien­tiously and systematically tackle the education of those who will educate others for more active living and a higher level of awareness. The state of Slovenia should provide greater assistance on a long-term basis for the implementation of such long­ term activities, which influence our consciousness and welfare.Izobraževanje za aktivno državljanjstvo (oziroma za aktivno življenje) je nujnost, kajti le aktivni, zadovoljni in uspešni posamezniki so trden temelj za intenziven in zanesljiv razvoj naše države. Ta vrsta izobraževanja naj spodbudi ljudi k večji zavesti, da je vsak svoje sreče kovač, k temu, da se vsak bolj zaveda svojih možnosti, da si bolj upa izrabiti svojo edinstvenost in da se tudi bolj zaveda svojih nalog. Za to vrsto izobra ževanja naj poskrbi ACS, ki je za to strokovno usposobljen, že ima izkušnje pri širjenju zn a nja med odrasle ljudi in tudi trdno veruje v korist teh aktivnosti za vse nas, državljane Slovenije. Strokovna institucija ACS naj s temo aktivnega življenja oziroma aktivnega državijanstva sistematično in vztrajno ozavešča ljudi, predvsem pa tiste, ki odločajo (politike), in tiste, ki krojijo javno mnenje (medije). K temu delu naj pritegne vse strokovnjake, ki bodo koristni pri izvajanju te naloge. Še posebej vestno in sistematsko naj se najprej loti izobraževanja tistih, ki bodo za bolj aktivno in zavestno življenje izobraževali druge. Država Slovenija naj dolgoročno in bolj pripomore k izvajanju takšnih dolgoročnih aktivnosti, ki vplivajo na našo zavest in blaginjo
