HUBUNGAN POSTUR TUBUH DENGAN GEJALA LOW BACK PAIN PADA MAHASISWA FARMASI SAAT PRAKTIKUM DI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

Background: : The duration of students when practicum ≥ 9 hours can cause students at risk of feel low back pain is activity when excessive practicum and body posture that is not ergonomic can cause aches, or discomfort in the back area. Method: This research aim to identify the posture with the symptoms of low back pain in pharmacy students during practicum at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research study uses descriptive design with cross sectional. The population in this study was Pharmacy students when practicum at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (n=) 251. A sample of (n=) 51 used the Purposive Sampling. The data using quesioner and REBA to assess symptoms ( lbp ) low back pain. Results: The results of this study indicate that based on the analysis using Chi-Square test results obtained 0.001 where p value ≤ 0.05 means there is a relationship of posture with symptoms of low back pain in pharmacy students when practicum is statistically significant. Conclusion: The position of the body can improve symptoms irregularly shaped ( lbp ) low back pain , in addition to the position of the body by a factor , around long and body mass index .Can increase the risk of low back pain ( lbp ) due to increased pressure on the body terjdi in keep menenerus and long lasting
