They were shipping a car of Hereford Bulls to the Calgary Bull Sale (March 18 - 22)• They also shipped seven head to the Kamloops Bull Sale. The two years olds averaged around 1600 lbs., while one yoarling weighed In at 1290 lbs. They are all low and carry a lot of flesh. Ed Newton of Del Bonita accompanied the shipment. Glen Powelsland, Dei Bonita also made a shipment of five head. About 300 guests attended the Rod & Gun Annual '’Turkey and Elk'’ 3anquet at Cardston Wednesday, March 13th, Those from Magrath attending included: Mr. Douglas Harker, Mr. Rondo Robinson, Mr. & Mrs. Yem Hilton, Mr. a Mrs, Grant Crookston, Mrs, V. Hilton took part bn the program, playing "Hunting Scene” and "Toy Trumpots", comet solos. The guest speaker of the evening was Mr. Dave SLton, Dancing concluded a vary en­joyable time. The Magrath Lions Basketball Team, accompanied by Junior Turner and Coach Dean Bennett, motored to Lewiston, Mont, to participate in the Basketball Tournament. Sixteen basketball teams have entered.
