(Ko Promotor) Research and development objectives are: (1) to get an overview of the implementation of the teaching of history in SMK N 8 Surakarta, (2) to develop media site Rasden Mas Said as an attempt to improve the attitude of local wisdom in SMK N 8 Surakarta, (3) determine the effectiveness RM Said largest media history teaching in SMK N 8 Surakarta. Methods of research and development is carried out through three main stages, namely the preliminary study, the development of media and media test. Collecting data using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Analysis of data on preliminary studies using kuanlitatif approach, while the test media through experiments with quantitative approach. To determine differences in the effectiveness of the media used the t-test. The results showed that: (1) Learning history in SMK N 8 Surakarta still varied, limited to the transfer of knowledge, learning assessments are still focused on cognitive aspects. These claims should be implemented in an integrated curriculum, the goal should be touching aspects of knowledge, attitudes, skills and behavior; to the multimedia site developed Raden Mas Said. (2) Draft multimedia in an effort to improve the attitude of local knowledge after being validated by a team of experts and practitioners, then tested at SMK N 8 and the results can be implemented by teachers and learners. After the trial, the trial continued through a quasi-experimental area at SMK N 8 classes C and D. (3) Test the effectiveness of the media held in SMK N 8 Surakarta class C and D shows that the RM Said Multimedia largest proven a significant effect on improvement of learning achievement and improve the attitude of local knowledge learners than the media Power Point. It can be concluded that the groups using trusted media RM Said to have better learning achievement and attitude of local wisdom is stronger than the group using Power Point media.
