Processo decis?rio no mercado da beleza: um estudo multicasos em micro e pequenas empresas de est?tica geridas por mulheres

The studies about entrepreneurship have grown significantly over the last few years in Brazil. Factors such as economic crises, politics crises or the expansion of the sectors, increase in exports and development of new technologies are determinants to the process of entrepreneurship, both for needs and opportunities. Besides that, the entrepreneurship is strictly linked to micro and small enterprises, since these correspond to 98% of the number of organizations in the country, occupying up to 70% of the work force of certain sectors, such as commerce. In this sense, the management of this kind of organization happens in a differentiated form, given the reduced structure of the company and the low capital contribution, restricting the organizational resources. This falls on factors such as the extreme centralization of power in the decision-making, the interference of personal aspects on the management and the little or no professional qualification in some cases. More specifically, the structured decision-making process in these organizations is practically non-existent, because there is no clear structuring of the problem, the alternatives and consequences of decision, either the evaluation of the decisions made by the managers, implying in the increase of the chances of the company not being able to remain in the market. Given the exposed, the present work had as general objective to analyze the decision-making process of micro and small business that work in beauty market in Chapec?-SC, managed by women, through an exploratory research, with the use of bibliographical research and semi structured interviews with the managers of beauty clinics. As specific objectives, it was sought to characterize the managers of the studied enterprises, describe the entrepreneurship process and analyze how the decisionmaking process happens in this companies. The results show that the entrepreneurship process in the organizations happen for many reasons and circumstances, from an opportunity, necessity or both situations. Furthermore, it was verified that the decision-making process focuses exclusively on the managers/owners, where these, despite having the support of their teams or family, make all the decisions. In addition, it was possible to verify that there is no structured strategic planning in the enterprises, attending to weekly reunions to define the goals in just one enterprise. The use of technologies and information management to the optimization of the general management showed itself as a weak point in the studied organizations, where in some clinics the registers are exclusively made in a manual way, or registered just in spreadsheets, without the support of a own management system or decision support system. Speaking of the limitations of the study, the lack of interest or availability of the managers implied in the no possibility of a more comprehensive analysis of the beauty clinics management in the city of Chapec? ? Al?m disso, o empreendedorismo est? estreitamente ligado ?s micro e pequenas empresas, uma vez que estas correspondem a 98% do n?mero de organiza??es no pa?s, ocupando at? 70% da m?o-de-obra de determinados setores, como o de com?rcio. Neste sentido, a gest?o deste tipo de organiza??o acontece de forma diferenciada, dada a estrutura reduzida da empresa e o baixo aporte de capital, restringindo os recursos organizacionais. Isto recai em fatores como a extrema centraliza??o do poder decis?rio, a interfer?ncia de aspectos pessoais na gest?o da organiza??o e a pouca ou nenhuma qualifica??o profissional em alguns casos. Mais especificamente, o processo decis?rio estruturado nestas empresas ? praticamente inexistente, pois n?o existe uma estrutura??o clara do problema, das alternativas e das consequ?ncias da decis?o, tampouco a avalia??o das decis?es tomadas pelos gestores, implicando no aumento das chances de a empresa n?o conseguir se manter no mercado. Dado o exposto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar o processo decis?rio de micro e pequenas empresas que atuam no mercado da beleza em Chapec? ? SC, geridas por mulheres, por meio de pesquisa qualitativa, com a utiliza??o de pesquisa bibliogr?fica e entrevistas semiestruturadas com gestoras de seis cl?nicas de est?tica. Como objetivos espec?ficos, buscou-se caracterizar o perfil empreendedor das gestoras, descrever o processo de cria??o do neg?cio e da decis?o de empreender e identificar como ocorreu o processo decis?rio nessas organiza??es. Os resultados mostraram que o processo empreendedor nas organiza??es acontece por diversos motivos e circunst?ncias, a partir de uma oportunidade, necessidade ou a jun??o das duas situa??es. Ademais, verificouse que o processo de tomada de decis?o centra-se exclusivamente nas gestoras/propriet?rias, onde estas, apesar de contarem com o aux?lio de suas equipes ou at? da fam?lia, efetivam todas as decis?es finais. Tamb?m foi poss?vel constatar que n?o existe nenhum planejamento estrat?gico estruturado nas empresas, atendo-se ? reuni?es semanais para a defini??o de metas em apenas um dos empreendimentos consultados. A utiliza??o de tecnologias e a gest?o da informa??o para a otimiza??o da gest?o apresentou ser um ponto fraco nas organiza??es estudadas, onde em algumas das cl?nicas os registros s?o feitos exclusivamente de forma manual, ou registrados apenas em planilhas, sem o apoio de um sistema gerencial pr?prio ou de apoio ? decis?o. Quanto ?s limita??es do estudo, a falta de interesse ou disponibilidade de gestores em participar da pesquisa implicaram na n?o possibilidade de uma an?lise mais abrangente da gest?o das cl?nicas de est?tica no munic?pio de Chapec? ? SC, dando margem a estudos futuros
