Multivalent vectors elicit an <i>in vivo</i> anti-His₆ immune response.

<p>BALB/c mice (n = 8) were primed, boosted, and reboosted with 1×10¹⁰ VP of Ad vectors. A) Immunization timeline showing when immunizations were performed (solid arrows); serum was collected (dashed arrows). B–C) Post-prime and post-reboost serum was collected for ELISA binding assays. 1 µM of purified His₆ (LGSHHHHHHLGS) antigenic peptide was bound to ELISA plates. Residual unbound peptide was washed from the plates. The plates were then incubated with varying concentrations of immunized mice serum and the binding was detected with HRP conjugated secondary antibody. OD absorbance at 450 nm represents His₆ antibody levels in serum. The values are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation.
