Neither C3G nor 5-ASA prevent the cytokine-induced IkB-α degradation in HT-29 cells.

<p>Cells were pre-incubated with 25 µM C3G or 500 µM 5-ASA or both and then treated with a combination of cytokines for 30 minutes. IkB-α degradation was evaluated in cytoplasmic extracts by Western blotting, as described in “Materials and Methods”.
