C3G inhibits cytokines-induced up-expression of iNOS and COX-2, like 5-ASA, in HT-29 cells.

<p>Cells were pre-incubated with 25 µM C3G or 500 µM 5-ASA or both (25 µM C3G plus 500 µM 5-ASA) and then treated with a combination of cytokines. iNOS (A) and COX-2 (B) expressions were evaluated after 24 hours or 16 hours, respectively, in total extracts by Western blotting, as described in “Materials and Methods”, and expressed as percentage of control.
