International audienceThe author points out that if we want to improve the quality of educational mass-produced medias we must not forget that the chief agent in learning is the learner himself. Then the new educational technologies are to be conceived, not as means of transmitting information, but a new system of representation.Such a new view modifies mainly the notion of interaction. The important thing is intentional interaction as an equivalent to the reading contract in other traditional medias.
