Pneumonia cases declined from 1,895 to 1,800 new cases. Deaths declined to 684.• No time has been determined for resuming induction of military personnel.• Senator Lewis of Illinois has proposed a bill increasing anti-influenza funding by $10,000,000.• The Supreme Court has extended its recess.• Government employees absolutely vital to government work will be allowed to come to Washington.
